This Privacy Policy explains how DividendXray ("we", "us", or "our") collects, uses, and protects your personal information when you use our services. DividendXray offers both free and paid features and may be supported by affiliate links and sponsorships. See our Cookie Policy and Terms of Service.

2. Information We Collect

• Information you provide: email address, portfolio and transaction data you enter or import, preferences (e.g., settings), and messages you send us.
• Automatic data: IP address, device and browser type, pages viewed, referring/exit pages, timestamps, approximate location (derived from IP), and similar usage logs.
• Cookies/identifiers: cookies, local storage, pixels, SDKs, and pseudonymous identifiers used for analytics, security, and basic product functionality (see Sections 4–5).
• Billing information: if you purchase a paid plan, our payment processor (e.g., PayPro Global) collects and processes billing details. We do not store full card numbers on our systems.

3. How We Use Your Information

• Provide and operate the service (including saving your settings and data).
• Analyze and improve features, performance, and usability.
• Communicate with you (e.g., support replies, account notices, and subscription-related emails).
• Prevent abuse and maintain security and integrity of the platform and our users.
• Measure public-site usage and support affiliate attribution where applicable (see Section 5).
• Process subscriptions and payments via our payment processor.
• Comply with legal obligations and enforce our Terms.

We do not sell your personal information. Google Analytics is used for non-authenticated visitors only. Certain analytics activities may be considered a "share" under some laws; see Your Choices (Section 7).

4. Cookies & Tracking Technologies

We use cookies and similar technologies to enable core functionality, remember your preferences, and analyze public-site traffic for guests who are not signed in. You can disable non-essential cookies via your browser settings, but some features may not work correctly without essential cookies. See our Cookie Policy.

• Essential: login/session, security, load balancing.
• Functional: preferences related to your account and app experience.
• Analytics: Google Analytics for non-authenticated visitors only, with IP anonymization enabled. The site does not currently present a consent banner before loading this analytics script.

5. Analytics & Affiliate Links

DividendXray may include affiliate links or sponsored partner mentions. We do not currently display third-party advertising cookies on the site.

• Affiliate programs: Clicking certain links may set a cookie or use an identifier so we can receive credit if you sign up or make a purchase.
• Analytics: We use Google Analytics to understand how public pages are used by guests who are not logged in. Logged-in users are not tracked by this tool in the current implementation.

We do not currently provide an in-site cookie consent banner or preference center. If you are in a region that requires consent before analytics cookies, you may use browser controls to limit tracking.

6. Data Sharing & Disclosure

• Service providers: Hosting, analytics, email, and similar vendors may process data on our behalf under confidentiality agreements.
• Payment processing: We use a third-party provider (e.g., PayPro Global) to process payments; they receive the information necessary to complete transactions and handle it in accordance with their policies.
• Legal: We may disclose information if required by law or to protect rights, safety, and integrity.
• Business changes: In connection with a merger, acquisition, or asset sale, your information may be transferred with appropriate protections.

7. Your Choices

• Account emails: We may send transactional messages related to your account, security, or subscription.
• Access, correction, deletion: Signed-in users can delete their account from Account settings. You can also request a copy, update, or deletion of your personal data by contacting us.
• Regional rights: Residents of certain regions (e.g., EEA/UK, California) may have additional rights regarding data access, portability, correction, deletion, objection/opt-out of "sale" or "sharing," and targeted advertising. We honor valid requests in accordance with applicable law.
• Cookie controls: You can limit cookies through your browser settings. We do not currently offer an in-site cookie preference center.

8. Data Retention

We retain personal information only as long as necessary to provide the service and for legitimate business or legal purposes. You may delete your account and associated data from Account settings at any time. If you cannot access your account, you may contact us. We may retain de-identified or aggregated information that does not identify you for analytics and product improvement.

9. Security

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect personal information. However, no method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

10. International Transfers

We may process and store information in countries other than your own. Where required, we implement appropriate safeguards for international transfers.

11. Children’s Privacy

Our service is not intended for users under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children under this age.

12. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with a revised "Last updated" date. Material changes will be communicated when appropriate.
